Proposal

The goal of this project is to create an electric and fretless 11 string bass that is played by the contact between magnets and the strings without the need to completely press down the string. These magnets would be used by means of gloves that will have magnets in key places most convenient for fingering notes. The playing of the instrument will be based on the concept of "tapping" well known among electrical guitarists and bassists as playing a note by firmly pressing down the frets without needing to pluck any notes.
